Opportunity for development — revitalisation of the village of Monks — stage II

The main objective of the project is to revitalise the social and economic community and to renew the physical and spatial area of the revitalisation of the village of Mniów. Specific objectives: (1) Improving the living conditions of local residents by reducing the number of people and families at risk of social exclusion living in the revitalisation area. (2) Strengthening the socio-economic development of the revitalisation area. (3) Adaptation of degraded buildings and/or areas with a view to restoring or giving them new social, economic, tourist, recreational and cultural functions:(1) Increase in employment in supported entities (other than enterprises) — 3, (2) Increase in employment in supported entities (other than enterprises) — women [EPC]-2, (3) Growth in employment in supported entities (other than enterprises) — men [EPC]-1 (4) Area of revitalisation areas — 0.91 ha (5) Number of facilities adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities-1. (6) Number of supported infrastructure facilities located in revitalised areas — 1. The objectives of the project and planned for the implementation of the action are in line with the specific objectives set for the 6th Priority Axis of the ROP WŚ 2014-2020 and with the specific objectives of Measure 6.5. The impact of the project has a supra-local scope. The infrastructure created as part of the project will be adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities (description in SW). The project will be implemented in partnership with the Municipal Public Library in Mniów (GBP). The leader of the project is the Municipality of Monks. The dominant category is social infrastructure (not exceeding 40 % of eligible costs). The material scope includes, among others, the reconstruction and extension of the TSO’s watchtower building for cultural, social and economic purposes, including land development and public square for recreational purposes, renovation of the water reservoir (ineligible cost), the construction of a car park in the center of Mniów by commercial facilities and GBP retrofitting.
