The main objective of the project is to provide residents of Siemiatycki and neighbouring districts with greater accessibility to high quality modern and effective health services close to the place of residence. The project consists of two components: 1. execution of construction works necessary for the establishment of the Orthopaedic Branch and purchase of equipment, including medical devices for the purposes of the operations of the Branch, 2. purchase of magnetic resonance imaging together with the execution of adaptation works of hospital rooms for the purpose of launching the first magnetic resonance imaging laboratory in Siemiatyckie district. The implementation of the investment will significantly improve the accessibility to health services in the field of hospital treatment of diseases of the bone — articular and muscle system, as well as diagnostic imaging using magnetic resonance imaging. At the same time, the project will significantly increase the quality of medical services performed at the ZOZ in Siemiatycze, will increase the complexity of the services provided, especially in the field of treatment of diseases of the bone — articular and muscle system. The main target group of the project are recipients of health services provided by SP ZOZ, i.e. in Siemiatycze, which for the vast majority are residents of the Siemiatycki district and, to a lesser extent, residents of neighbouring districts. In addition, the target group is also the hospital staff. The project will be carried out as part of three tasks including construction works within the future Orthopaedic Branch, purchase of the equipment of the Branch and adaptation work and purchase of resonance for the purpose of launching the RM studio. The implementation of the project will achieve the following indicators: 1. Number of medical entities supported: 1 pcs. 2. Investment outlays on the purchase of medical equipment: 4 513 238.70 PLN 3. Number of facilities adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities: 1 pcs. 4. Population covered by improved health services: 2,160 people.
