The project titled “Improving the quality and accessibility to radiotherapy and oncological rehabilitation procedures through the modernisation and reconstruction of building No. 5 along with the surroundings and the purchase of a computer tomograph in Białostocki Center oncology” will be carried out at the premises of the Białystok Oncology Center in Białystok, at ul. Garden 12. The main objective of the project is to reduce health inequalities and improve the professional activity of inhabitants of Podlaskie Voivodeship through better access to health services. The direct objective of the project is to improve the quality and availability of radiotherapy, brachytherapy, teleradiotherapy and oncological rehabilitation procedures through modernisation and reconstruction of building No. 5 along with the surroundings and purchase of a computer tomograph. The subject of the project is investments consisting of the modernisation and reconstruction of building No. 5 together with the surroundings, in which the premises of the Radiotherapy — Medical Clinic, Brachytherapy and Oncological Rehabilitation Department will be placed. For the needs of the Brachytherapy Department, a computer Tomograph with 3D function will be purchased along with instrumentation. The project will be implemented between August 2021 and July 2023. The total value of the project is PLN 27 091 682.30 gross, including the value of the eligible costs of the project amounting to PLN 9 392 797.70. The expected grant from the ERDF and the state budget under the 2014-2020 ROP is PLN 7 983 878.01.
