The main objective of the project is the development of tourism infrastructure, enabling the promotion of active forms of tourism in the city of Opocznie, which will create the image of the Łódź Voivodeship as a tourist attractive region. The subject of the project is the creation and promotion of a new comprehensive TURISTICAL PRODUCT consisting of providing a package of tourist and recreational services in the area of the reservoir in Opoczno. The project is part of a broader concept of the development of tourist attractions identified with a characteristic feature of the region — ceramics. The reservoir area as a “full energy” place will offer the possibility of recreational, active and qualified tourism. The investment scope of the project includes the expansion and improvement of the standard of tourist infrastructure and activities promoting active forms of tourism and recreation at the Opoczno flood. In particular, the project covers the following investment tasks: 1) Construction of a bicycle path/train on foot and bicycle on the section of the Family Landscape Garden on the Tulip Lagoon in Opoczno with traffic safety devices and lighting development 2) Reconstruction of Mickiewicza Street 3) Construction of a skatepark 4) Land development around the Reservoir of Target Group: residents, tourists, entrepreneurs and all others benefiting from the planned effects of the tourism infrastructure created as part of the project: Number of enterprises receiving support (CO01) 1 enterprise Number of enterprises receiving grants (CO02) 1 enterprise Number of tourism infrastructure built 4 pcs.
