Main objective of the project: Increased level of renewable energy production in facilities owned by natural persons — residents of the City of Tarnobrzeg. The project concerns the installation of photovoltaic installations producing electricity only for the needs of the household. As part of the project, 673 photovoltaic installations with a voltage of 270V and a power of 2.97 kW will be installed. The electricity generated by the designed micro-installation system is intended to power the objects covered by the project. Its creation will contribute to reducing energy consumption in the overall energy balance of the property, thereby reducing the cost of purchasing conventional energy. The final recipients of the project are the residents of the City of Tarnobrzeg, who were qualified for the project. The achievement of the headline target will be measured by the following output and result indicators: • Additional capacity for generating electricity from renewable sources MWe] — 1,99881 MWe, • Number of RES electricity generation units built [pcs] — 673 pcs, • Electricity production from newly built/new generation capacity of RES installations [MWhe/year] — 1 868.88 MWhe/year, • Estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions [tonnes of CO2/year] (CI 34) — 1 541.83 CO2/year. The project will contribute to achieving the objectives set out in the climate and energy package by 2020 called the 3x20 % package, i.e. a 20 % reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to 1990, a 20 % increase in the share of renewable energy in final energy consumption (the level for Poland — 15 %) and a 20 % increase in energy efficiency by 2020 compared to the forecast of energy and fuel demand.
