The Regional Rehabilitation Programme for Lodz Voivodeship Residents after the COVID-19 disease “Łódzkie Centrum Postcovidowe” is a response to one of the most important health problems of recent years — the pandemic of the disease caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The main objective of the Project is to improve the functional status compared to the initial state in 3000 inhabitants of the Łódzkie Voivodeship after the COVID-19 disease, participating in the rehabilitation programme in the Łódź Postcovidowy Centre in the years 2021-2023. Rehabilitation within the framework of the Łódź Postcovid Center assumes the improvement of the functional condition of the inhabitants of the Łódzkie Voivodeship after the COVID-19 disease, through (target: improving physical exercise tolerance, improving ventilation, reducing breathlessness, reducing the level of chronic fatigue, increasing knowledge of self-management of bothersome symptoms associated with COVID-19, mastering the ability to properly perform exercises at home, improving the mental state of the participants. Candidates for programme participants can apply directly to the project implementing body where activities related to the formal recruitment criteria will be carried out: The inhabitants of Lodz; Age of professional activity; Health status (the patient shall be reported no earlier than 14 days from the date of release from isolation associated with obtaining a positive result of infection with SARS virus — CoV2. The added value of this project is the coordination of activities under the ŁÓDZKI POSTCOVID CENTER. It provides: • synergy of interventions undertaken; • easy and quick access to benefits (With information and promotion measures, residents of the province, including those infected with coronavirus, will learn about the Centre’s operation; • maximising medicinal effects; • the cost-effectiveness of the measures taken.
