The aim of the integrated project is to improve access to pre-school education and to improve the quality of pre-school education in the Municipality of Łapa by permanently increasing the number of pre-school education places by 70, increasing the competences of teachers and extending the offer to include activities that compensate for deficits and competency classes by 31.07.2023. The target group of the project are children of kindergarten age living in the municipality of Łapy and teachers of Kindergarten No. 2 in Łapy. The scope of the project covers the following tasks: 1)Additional classes that increase educational opportunities and balance deficits and classes in the field of language, mathematical and shaping entrepreneurial and creative attitudes in children; (2) Measures to improve teachers’ competences and qualifications; 3)Organisation of the day-to-day activities of the kindergarten. As part of this task, it is planned to employ new teaching and staff staff. The project also takes into account indirect costs (administrative costs related to the operation of the project). As a result of the project, the following output and result indicators will be achieved: —Number of children covered by additional activities increasing their educational opportunities in pre-school education 288(155K and 133M), -Number of pre-school education places co-financed by the 70(38K and 32M) programmes, -Number of teachers supported in the programme (9K), -Number of teachers who obtained qualifications or acquired competences after leaving the programme 9 (9K). The project is integrated, i.e. it will be implemented in connection with infrastructure activities, i.e. related to the extension of the Preschool building No. 2 in Łapy. The implementation of hard investments financed by the ERDF is subordinating the achievement of the ESF objectives of the project. The entire project of the Lapa Commune is comprehensive and will take into account the complementarity of support between the ERDF and the ESF.
