The subject of the investment is the purchase and installation of photovoltaic installations and solar collectors for the needs of residents of Stawiska Municipality. The energy produced will be used exclusively for the own needs of the residents (Granto recipients). The strategic objective of the project is to promote the low-carbon economy in all sectors to improve the energy balance, this objective is in line with the objective of Priority V Low-carbon economy ROP PP for 2014-2020, i.e. increasing the share of distributed renewable energy production. The direct objective of the project is to increase the use of unconventional energy sources leading to the improvement of air quality by reducing the amount of pollutants in the Stawiski Commune. The implementation of the project will allow to achieve the following indicators: at product level: — Number of units built to produce electricity from RES — 50 pcs. — Number of units built for heat generation from RES — 20 pcs. — Estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions — 165.15 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, — Additional capacity to generate electricity from renewable sources — 0.19 MWe; — Additional thermal generation capacity from renewable sources — 0.10 MWt. (b) at result level: — Electricity production from newly built RES installations — 175.75 MWhe/year; — Production of heat from newly built/new generation capacity of RES installations — 66.00 MWht/year. The total cost of the investment will be PLN 1 774 800.00 gross. VAT will be eligible expenditure. The 85 % subsidy will amount to PLN 1 508 580,00. The remaining amount is the own contribution of the Municipality and the Grantees. The project is scheduled for October 2021 — September 2022.
