Renewable energy sources on residential buildings in the Krasnopol Commune

The project includes installation of photovoltaic installations and solar collectors supplying energy for residential buildings located in the Krasnopol Commune. As part of the project, the installation of 3 solar collectors and 43 photovoltaic panels for 45 residential buildings is planned. For 2 buildings, the installation of hybrid installations is foreseen. The project also includes expenditure on investor supervision. The aim of the project is to increase the use of energy from renewable sources by the Municipality of Krasnopol by installing photovoltaic installations and solar collectors for residential buildings. The investment shall contribute to the achievement of the following indicators: 1) Product: —Number of RES electricity generation units built — 43 pcs. — Number of units built for heat generation from RES — 3 pcs; — Additional heat generation capacity from renewable sources — 0.01 MWt; — Additional capacity to generate electricity from renewable sources — 0.19 MWe; — Estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions — 150.39 tonnes of CO2 equivalent; 2) the result: — Production of electricity from newly built RES installations — 182.62 MWhe; — Heat generation from newly built installations using RES — 6.18 MWht/year. The energy produced by the project will be used for the grantees’ own needs.
