The subject of the project is the extension of the provincial road No. 878 on the section from ul. Lubelska in Rzeszów to the junction with DW 869 in Jasionka. The length of the extended section of the road is 5.00 km. The scope of the project includes, among others: — extension of the existing section DW 878 from km 0 + 028.76 (including the section of the link from the km approx. 0 + 020.65) to km approx. 5 + 025,55 along with the necessary situational and altitude links to the road network existing in the form of road crossings and to the designed bicycle path in approx. 106 m north of junction DW 869 with DW 878, — extension, construction and reconstruction of intersections with existing roads, — reconstruction/extension of internal roads, construction of additional roadways, — construction and reconstruction of sidewalks, bicycle paths and pedestrian-bike tracks, — reconstruction and construction of bus bays, places for turning vehicles, — reconstruction and construction of rainwater sewerage, dehydration of the road, — reconstruction and construction of road lighting, — demolition and construction of engineering facilities: MD-1 bridge on the Mrowla River (Black) and the WD-1 viaduct over the local road in Trzebownisko, — demolition of existing culverts and construction of the P-3 culvert, — construction of environmental protection elements, including acoustic screens and animal crossings PZ-1. The extended road will be characterised by the following parameters: class of road: G, cross section: street 2 x 2, road width: 2x3.50 m; lane Width: 3.50 m, permissible load: 115 kN/axle, traffic category: THE KR4. The main users of the project will be: residents of Rzeszów and surrounding municipalities, persons associated with the economic zones of Rzeszów and the surrounding companies, i.e. investors, employees, suppliers, customers, passengers of the Jasionka Airport and other drivers of vehicles moving on this section of the road.
