The project includes the development of the concept of a new Family of Intelligent Vertical Machining Centers of medium size and with medium machining accuracy, innovative, especially by assigning them the ability to self-correct operating properties, which are subject to distortion during the implementation of machining processes. Self-correction will be controlled intelligently based on continuous and periodic monitoring of operational properties using the latest sensor technology and measuring devices made as part of the project. Industrial research will include the development of the development strategy and concept of the Family of Centres, together with the identification of exemplary operational properties, the distortions of which will be minimised with the support of accurate modelling and numerical simulation of static, thermal and dynamic properties. The simulation will allow the identification of errors, their validation of initial models, and will provide data for the development of strategies and concepts for monitoring and then self-correction. Further work will be devoted to the detailed development of the intelligent monitoring system and functions, self-correction procedures. They will be verified and examined in detail at the Research Stand, which is in front of the prototype 3+ 2D Center, in terms of their effectiveness and achievability of milestones, until they are met. The final stage of the research work will be the application of the developed improvements, monitoring and self-correction in the Target Centre, which will be the subject of the implementation of the project results and their commercialisation through the launch of Number_reference_aid_programme on the market: SA.41471(2015/X) Purpose of public aid: art: 25 EC Regulation No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ L 119, p. That’s it. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014).
