The project aims to reduce greenhouse gas and particulate emissions. The project foresees the liquidation of old coal furnaces of boilers and furnaces in 189 residential buildings. The permanent decommissioning of old heat sources and the installation of new heat sources are envisaged in buildings that will meet the maximum required or lower Ep 150 or 135 kWhm2 x year depending on the type of building. The installation of condensing gas boilers and the installation of biomass boilers complying with the requirements of the Directive are foreseen. Ecodesign, in force from the end of 2020, will be equipped with an automatic fuel feeder and will not have an emergency grate or fitting elements. Investments in gas and biomass boilers will be carried out where the connection to the district heating network is technically or economically unjustified and is not planned by the end of 2023. The project also provides for co-financing for connection to the district heating network in the area of planned development of the m.s.c. indicated in C.1.5. As part of the exchange of heat sources, co-financing is also foreseen for the adaptation of indoor installations in residential buildings. In addition, financial support is provided for the thermal modernisation of buildings that will not meet the required Ep and in which the heat source will be replaced. The support will be carried out in accordance with the requirements set out in the rules of the competition. The pre-selected households, which will be the final recipients of the project, will first be subject to an energy assessment, which will indicate whether the facility requires an energy modernisation process or meets the requirements set by the maximum Ep. In addition to the investment activities, the applicant also plans to implement more than standard actions raising environmental awareness of the direct recipients of the effects of the local community project and providing a control system for the operation of heating equipment.C.d. in part Q
