Support for low-carbon strategy in the city of Chodzieży — stage II

The subject of the project is “Support for a low-carbon strategy in the city of Chodzieży — stage II”. It will be implemented in the city of Chodzieży, in the Poviat, in Wielkopolskie Voivodeship. Direct Beneficiaries will be the Municipal Municipality in Chodzież and the Chodzieski District. The final beneficiaries will be the inhabitants of the county, and in particular from the town and commune of Chodzież. The main objective of the project is to create a sustainable transport system in the city of Chodzieży by increasing the role of non-motorised individual transport. The implementation of the project will reduce harmful CO2 emissions and improve the environment, but will also increase the attractiveness of travelling with alternative means of communication and improve the comfort and safety of travellers, better energy management. As part of the project, walking and cycling paths will be rebuilt (18 tasks) at ul. Honey, Akacjowa, Rural, Adam Mickiewicz, Fr. Ignacy Czechowski, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Dworcowa and Tadeusz Kościuszko, Ujska, Tadeusz Siejak, Jan Kochanowski, Budzyńska, Jan Matejka and Jagiellonska, Jan Kiliński, Juliusz Słowacki (with Bamp;R parking), Leśna, 3 May and Osiedle Leśne, in the area of ul. Świętokrzyska, Strzelecka and the lighting of these paths at ul. Budzyńska, Fr. Ignacy Czechowski, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Dwortsowa, Tadeusz Siejak, in the area of ul. Świętokrzyska.Products:Length of supported bicycle infrastructure — 8.680 km.Number of campaigns and information and promotional campaigns — 4 pcs.Number of buildings built “Bikeamp;Ride — 1 pieces.Number of parking stations in the built “Bikeamp;Ride” facilities — 16 pieces.The project is carried out in the Partnership with the Chodzieski County. All costs are eligible. The project includes a number of well-thought-out and coherent actions related to the promotion of the use of public transport and non-motorised individual transport.
