Creation of an integrated public transport system in K OSI — stage III

The project will be implemented in the Konin Strategic Intervention Area, Konin County, Wielkopolskie Voivodeship. The direct beneficiaries of the project are: City of Konin and municipalities as Project Partners: Kramsk, Golina, Rzgów, Old Town, Kazimierz Biskupi and Krzymów. The main objective of this project is to develop the integrated public transport system in K OSI. As a result of its implementation, 6 roads for bicycles and bicycle tracks will be built in the area of K OSI in the city of Konin (0.36 km) and municipalities: Golina (0.51 km), Rzgów (0.64 km), Old Town (1.08 km), Kazimierz Biskupi (0.45 km) and Krzymów (0.41 km) with a total length of 3.444 km, construction of energy-efficient lighting of existing bicycle roads in the municipality of Kramsk — 25 pcs, comprehensive information and promotion activities will be carried out (purchase and assembly of information boards — 14 pcs. and conducting an information campaign in the media — 1 pc.) and preparation of documentation related to the preparation of the project — feasibility study (service — 1). The final beneficiaries will be all residents of the area K OSI. The implementation of the project will contribute to the achievement of the main objective of the project, i.e. increasing the use of individual low-emission transport (bikes) in K OSI. The implementation of the project will contribute, among others, to the protection of the natural environment with particular emphasis on reduced noise emissions and polluting substances, improving safety during the journey of road users (pedestrians, cyclists and motorists) and raising the environmental awareness of residents through information and promotion activities.
