The implementation of the project will improve energy efficiency, functionality and accessibility of publ. communication in a supra-local perspective (MOF Poznań), through: construction of a pedestrian-bike track along with a new footbridge on the Warta river in Owińska, construction of energy-efficient lighting, video monitoring and infokiosk, installation of an electronic system supporting the safety and spatial orientation of persons with disabilities. In addition, strengthening the impact of infrastructure activities on increasing mobility and environmental awareness of the inhabitants of Czerwonak and MOF Poznań will be supported by the implementation of the information and promotion campaign and effective promotion of the project. Investor supervision over the construction works will be performed by a contract engineer appointed for this purpose.The project is another important element of the policy of improving the economic and environmental efficiency of transp. publ. The designed track and pedestrian-bike footbridge will ensure the communication and integration of the system of bicycle paths located to the left and right-bank part of Warta, creating a safe, convenient and attractive alternative to the existing bridge crossings, providing access to railway stations and collision-free access from the northern part of MOF to the centre of Poznań. The project results from the provisions of PGN, is complementary to the investments made so far as well as planned for implementation by Gm. Czerwonak and Partner of the project — M.
