Expansion of the area of bicycle roads ul. Nursery and Stefański in Suchy Forest consisting of the construction of bicycle paths with accompanying infrastructure

The project will be implemented in the area of g.Duchy Forest. The direct beneficiary will be g.Suchy Las, the last beneficiaries will be residents of Poznań district. As part of the project, there will be a bicycle path on Szkółkarska and Stefański Street, 36 pieces of LED lamps (luminaires), information and promotion campaign promoting non-motorised individual transport. As part of the ineligible costs, there will be: sidewalk, downhills on the property, rainwater drainage and parking bay. Bicycle path at ul. Stef. will run from ul. Strawberry to ul. It’s Borówkowa. Bicycle path at ul. The school will run from ul. Sucholeska to ul. Borówkowa on the west side of the road. The project will make it possible to increase the number of bicycle users in daily commuting, which translates into a reduction of CO2 emissions from mechanised means of transport, which in turn leads to a reduction in anthropopression, a decrease in noise levels and an increase in the quality of life of residents.The project will also make it possible to increase the coherence and intermodality of the transport system, improve the comfort and safety of travellers, reduce the use of cars, reduce energy consumption.The project is in line with the Development Strategy of the Commune Suchy Forest, within the scope of strategic objective 3.1 Construction and modernisation of road infrastructure together with its immediate surroundings and operational objective No 3.1.2. The project’s outputs achieved in 2021 are: — length of bicycle roads built: 1.930 km- number of campaigns and information and promotion campaigns — 1 pc.- number of new/modernised light points — 36 pcs. The project is complementary to other projects implemented in the Commune and the agglomeration of Poznań. The project is carried out without the participation of a partner.
