The project is aimed at a group of 162 students (90K, 72M) and 22 teachers (19K and 3M) from 6 primary schools of the Pruszcz Gdański Commune. Objectives of the project: Raising key competences and universal skills necessary in the labour market through maritime and nautical education. 2.Dissemination of active, civic, pro-ecological attitudes of life among children through maritime and sailing education. 3.Promoting and disseminating maritime professions among children and young people as one of the fields of professional activity. Raising the competences of teachers in the field of knowledge transfer in the field of maritime and nautical education. The project foresees the following actions: 1.Additional activities shaping key competences. The classes will be conducted by the design method and will link the curriculum with issues related to the coastal location of the region. The task also includes the purchase of materials necessary to conduct classes. 2.Professional counselling workshops taking into account maritime professions. 3.Theoretical and practical sailing activities. The task includes theoretical training on the basics of sailing, practical activities on water using infrastructure built within the Żuła Loop and summer sailing camp. 4.Educational trips to maritime and sailing education institutions and facilities. 5.Professional improvement of teachers in the field of preparation for work by project method and conducting sailing activities and activities related to maritime education. The result of the project will be to improve the quality of the school’s work by supporting their development in the area of diagnosed needs of pupils and teachers’ competences in the field of maritime and nautical education. The project will be implemented between I.2021 and XII.2022. The value of the task is PLN 596 302.50. The project will be implemented in partnership with a non-governmental organisation — the Yachtklub Morski Wiślinka association.
