Kashubian sails of knowledge

The offer of support for students of 64 students (31K) 6 schools of ZS in Skorzewo, ZK in Łubia, SP in Korne, ZS-P in Nowy Klincz, ZK in Wielki Klincz (schools selected for the project in accordance with the Diagnosis) and ZS in Lipusz with Gm.Lipusz is based on the development of key competences (KK), which are intended to increase the knowledge and KK of pupils necessary on the labour market. These activities will be closely linked to the improvement of teachers in the context of innovative teaching methods using infor-communication technology (ICT). Participants will benefit from several forms of support. The classes take into account the formation of many KKs at the same time and will use in particular methods and tools based on maritime and sailing traditions. Classes will take the form of classes using the method of educational and non-school projects using water and sailing infrastructure. Through navigation classes, knowledge from geography and mathematics will be combined, using knowledge from biology will be conducted study of water, knowledge of flora and fauna “live” which will directly affect the improvement of mathematical and natural competences, and the awakening of creativity and innovation will take place during practical classes, e.g. boat classes and learning knots and plexus. Classes will teach children to cooperate by increasing their social competences. Professional advisory activities are aimed at promoting professions related to the coastal location of the region and the maritime industry. The activities were planned on the basis of the Concept based on the diagnosis of needs and the planned support of schools of the Kościerzyna Commune, adopted by the ZWP Resolution 1216/209/20. The scale of activities carried out before submitting the application will not decrease in relation to the scale of activities carried out in schools during the 12 months preceding the project implementation. The Leading Partner is the Municipality of Kościerzyna, and the manager of the Department of Education of the Kościerzyna Commune. The partners of the project are the Municipality of Lipusz and the Poviat Youth Centre in Garczyna-one educational district of Kościerskie.
