The project will be implemented in primary schools in the Municipality of Czersk and one elementary school of Karsin Municipality in the period from 1 September 2021 to 31.12.2022.Schools participating in the project from the area of Czersk Commune are: Primary School No. 1 Janusz Korczak in Czersk, Primary School No. 2 John Paul II in Czersk, Primary School in Gotelpi, school Complex in Łęg, School Complex in Rytlu, and from Karsin Municipality is the Wincenty Rogali Primary School in Karsin.The project will be partnered with the non-governmental organisation Wda Borsk Sailing Club Association. 120 students (100 students from the Municipality of Czersk and 20 students from the Municipality of Karsin-65 Women and 55 Men) will be supported by the project. The project will also be supported by 12 teachers (8 from the Municipality of Czersk and 4 from the Municipality of Karsin). The project foresees the following tasks: extracurricular classes conducted by project method in the field of maritime and nautical education in mathematics, biology and chemistry, physics, geography and computer science. In addition, there are individual and group professional advice, one-day theoretical-practical sailing classes, summer sailing camps, educational trips to museums and oceanographic institutions. For teachers there are practical and theoretical classes, including developing their competences in the use of ICT tools in maritime and sailing education, as well as educational trends-training on the use of modern technologies in the process of teaching/learning in the field of maritime and sailing education.The value of the project is PLN 379 000.00, while the requested co-financing amounts to PLN 360 050,00.
