The main objective of the project is to improve air quality in Warsaw by reducing surface emissions (so-called low emissions) from the building of the Public-Medical Police School No. 2 in Warsaw by 94.01 tonnes CO2/year (62.87 %) and increase the energy efficiency of the above-mentioned building for education purposes and the use of renewable energy sources (60.97 %). The aim of the project will be achieved through the implementation of comprehensive thermo-modernisation works, modernisation of the heating system (surface subject to change of the method of heating m²: 2159.60), replacement of lighting for energy-saving energy and the use of renewable energy sources (1 photovoltaic installation with a capacity of 9.9 kWp which will allow to produce 8.51 MWhe of electricity per year). The implementation of the investment is in line with the Low-Emission Economy Plan for the City of Warsaw, its strategic objectives and directions of activities, in particular with the Strategic Objective No. 2 “Modification of the economy in the administrative area of Warsaw” and its specific objective: “Increasing energy efficiency in the transport, industry and services sectors.” The direct target group is students and lecturers of the Medical School of Police No. 2 (240 people) as well as residents of Warsaw, who will benefit from the results of the investment, i.e. improving air quality and increasing energy security. The project is ready for implementation, i.e. the tasks to be carried out under the project, for which a building permit is required, have at the date of submission of the application for funding all final administrative decisions required by Polish law (certificate of non-objection to the submission of works). The applicant declares that the remaining tasks provided for in the project and covered by the functional-use programme (design and build) do not require a building permit or notification of works.
