“Bukowianka” — a new nursery in the Buk Commune

The main objective of the project is to create 20 childcare facilities under 3 years in the municipality of Buk by co-financing the retrofitting and adaptation of the facility to the needs of children and financing by 19 months of their current functioning, thanks to which parents experiencing difficulties on the job market due to childcare under 3 years will be able to maintain, find or actively seek work. The project will be implemented in the period from 01.06.21 to 30.06.23. The project will be implemented in the “Bukowianka” urban nursery at 1 Dobieżyńska Street in Buku.The project plans to renovate, retrofit and adapt the newly created places op. above children to l. 3 covering:- renovation and furnishing of the main hall, corridor, bathrooms, kitchen, playground and the location of internal installations in the building. The need to finance the adjustment of the facility in this respect is due to the fact that the building was unused for several years and requires adaptation to the standards of the educational establishment.Support is consistent with the diagnosis indicated in the non-competition project file and is due to the individually diagnosed needs of the institution supported in the project. There are two tasks in the project. Activities:- creation of 20 places of care for children under 3 years;- renovation and finishing works of 4 rooms,- retrofitting with furniture and equipment 4 rooms. — for example, with teaching materials 1 room. — financed current operation in the form of salaries of 3 guardians, cooks and works. inn. by 19 months. After the end of ESF funding, the newly created places will be financed from the municipality’s own resources and will be maintained for a period of at least 2 years from the date of completion of the project. The municipality will take all measures aimed at maintaining the functioning of these places of care after the cessation of ESF funding, e.g. by promoting the nursery among residents, helping to find and find a job, supporting economic entities in the commune, securing funds for the functioning of the facility in the budget.
