An essential element of the project is ensuring access to justice for the OzN by increasing architectural and information and communication accessibility, including setting accessibility standards for the court building (Available Court Model) and improving the competences of judicial staff in terms of knowledge related to the rights and needs of persons with disabilities and ways of effective communication with the OzN.New competences acquired during training will serve appropriate support for persons with a specific disability (as a client and a court employee), while maintaining the subjectivity of the OzN and excluding stereotypical thinking about disability, access to justice. Thanks to the training provided, court staff will be able to enter into proper relations and interactions with the OzN without generating unnecessary misunderstandings. On the other hand, developed e-learning materials constituting a compendium of knowledge in the field of accessibility and communication with the OzN will enable, through independent learning, to improve the competences of the non-trained or newly recruited employee — which will ensure greater sustainability of the Project’s effects.Support of selected courts to increase the level of accessibility will take place by equipping selected courts with equipment, installations and other elements aimed at ensuring greater access to the court’s infrastructure, including implementation of the scope of adaptation and construction work, as well as the necessary installation work, to establish the general availability of the court as a general access point.
