The activities carried out in the project will lead to the achievement of the model of the university available due to the needs of persons with disabilities. The applicant carried out an analysis of the specific needs of persons with disabilities. As part of the project, the university will implement the MIDI path. The project will be implemented in 8 tasks that will significantly increase the availability of the university in all 6 areas. The implementation of the project gives a chance to continue activities aimed at creating an accessible university. The diagnosis of the availability of the university for entry, planned activities and the state of availability of the university outside the project were developed in formal cooperation with the community of people with disabilities, i.e. the Heros Foundation.The cooperation is formalised by the signed Cooperation Agreement of 18.06.2021. The aim of the project is to support organizational changes and raise the awareness and competences of university staff in the field of disability through the implementation of activities aimed at ensuring the university’s communication accessibility, administered websites, IT tools, training procedures in higher education, introduction of modifications to education programs ensuring their accessibility for students with disabilities and activities in the field of architectural accessibility in the period from 01.10.2021 to 31.10.2023 (KD. 7).
