For many years, Łubianka Municipality has been conducting activities aimed at improving the quality of the natural environment by reducing pollutant emissions (mainly CO2) from the commune. In this respect, it has implemented several projects that have significantly reduced emissions. Another investment planned in this area is, also resulting from PGN for Łubianka Municipality, thermomodernisation of the building of the Primary School in Warszewice. In order to properly prepare the project, an energy audit was developed. The conclusions of this document became the basis for the development of a comprehensive, deep thermal modernisation of the public utility building, which is the school in Warszewice. The final material scope of the project was all activities indicated in the energy audit, which include: 1. insulation of facades and stropods;2. replacement of windows and doors not meeting the requirements of thermal insulation;3. replacement of the existing c.o. installation including: dismantling of the existing heating system and installation of the new heating system c.o., connection of the planned installation c.o. to the heat source — heat pump located in the basement of the building, construction and renovation works related to the designed installation works;4. installation of a new heat source — heat pump, (including decommissioning of the existing heat source — stone coal furnace);5. dismantling the existing lighting installation (excluding lighting in residential premises), installation of a new installation of indoor and emergency LED lighting and replacement of the electrical system,6. installation of the RES installation, i.e. photovoltaic installation for the production of electricity These activities will increase the energy efficiency of the building by more than 85 % and reduce CO2 emissions by nearly 133.61 Mg/year.
