The project “Termomodernisation of public utilities in the city of Włocławek-Stage VI” will be one of a number of implemented projects aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the most neglected urban facilities and public institutions. The project will be a deep and comprehensive thermo-modernisation of 4 public buildings, i.e.: Primary School No. 5 of Oddz. Integration (Building A),Public Preschools No: 16, 13 and 26 in Włocławek. The investment consists of thermal modernisation improvements concerning the reduction of the demand for heat and electricity.Scope of works: external walls, insulation of foundation walls and external walls of pedestals, warming of rooftops and replacement of roofing, replacement of lighting for energy-saving, replacement of central heating system, modernisation of the installation of c.w.u., replacement of doors and windows.Works made in individual buildings will be implemented as part of a common goal, which is to reduce energy consumption.Actually, the above buildings do not meet the requirements of the maximum value of the seasonal heat demand for heating, and their external partitions have low thermal insulation, characterised by unsatisfactory values of heat transfer coefficient U and R.The internal installations of heating systems of the facilities have a number of disadvantages resulting from outdated technical solutions and long-term use.The project will have a positive impact on climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere by 226, the pursuit of the main objective contributes to the improvement of the quality of use of buildings, thermal comfort, and also has a positive impact on the financial aspect of building maintenance and the quality of the external environment, referring to the appropriate formulation of climate and energy policies.
