The subject of the project is activities promoting the innovation of Lubuskie SMEs on export markets from these industries, which are among the smart specialisations designated by the PRI. As part of the project, it is planned to participate in business trips to high-tech centres, where Lubuskie SMEs will have the opportunity to see the functioning of the innovation ecosystem in other countries. The most important point of the trip will be B2B meetings, which will give a real chance for new contracts with companies of the highest technology. It is planned to travel to Switzerland, EPFL Innovation Park in Lausanne (Q2022), Spain — Technology Centre in Galicia (Q2023) and Greece — a partner region of Crete, recognised in the European Union as an innovation gem — to The Science and Technology Park (Q2023). In addition, the project assumes the organisation of two editions of the nationwide economic event in Lubuskie Voivodeship (Q2022, Q2023) under the name Lubuski Congress of Innovation. The formula of the Congress will focus on promoting innovative companies from the Lubuskie Voivodeship that fit into intelligent specialisations and expert debates on the most important issues related to innovation in general. It will be an international event. The aim of the project is to provoke interest among potential investors in the economic offer of the Lubuskie Voivodeship and an increase in the economic recognition of the “Innovative Lubuskie” brand. This will be achieved through the involvement of companies interested in expansion into foreign markets, focused on innovation in their enterprises and increasing exports. The effect of the support should be to increase the scale of innovative activity in companies and increase awareness of the innovation potential of the Lubuskie Voivodeship. As a result, this will ultimately translate into an increase in the volume of exports.
