The subject of the project is the exchange of heat source from coal to natural gas, as a new heat source, two steam gas boilers with a total steam capacity of 2 000 kg/h, two low-temperature water boilers each with a power of 1 100 kW, equipped with a cogeneration module powered by natural gas, cogeneration generating electrical power 199 kW and a heat 293 kW. It is planned to recover heat from the existing incineration plant of medical waste through an exhaust gas economiser with a capacity of 1 200 kW. There will also be a new power supply and electrical installation of the boiler room building and thermal insulation of pipes and c.o. equipment together with the LNG tank at the same time. 10 m 3. In addition, thermomodernisations of the 4 storey boiler room building, warming of external walls, replacement of door and window joinery, warming of the roof over the passage, modernisation of the installation of c.w.u., c.o Implementation of the installation of energy management system controlling and regulating heating boilers and steam water aggregates, reading of gas meters, reading of electricity meters on cogeneration, reading of heat meters from boilers. The project aims to increase energy efficiency, reduce pollutant emissions, which in the long term will contribute to the transition to a low-carbon economy of WS SP ZOZ facilities in Nowa Salt. The objective at the result level is to achieve an energy effect to reduce energy demand by 54.66 % to reduce annual primary energy consumption by 13 031 128.03 [kWh/year] and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 74.33 %. The investment will enable energy protection of WS SP ZOZ facilities, efficient use of heat and electricity, recovery of heat from incineration plants of medical waste, reduction of heating costs of facilities, reduction of harmful pollutants into the atmosphere.
