Improving air quality in Katowice by replacing coal-fired heating systems in single-family buildings

The subject of the project implemented in the grant formula is the exchange/modernisation of individual coal-fired heating systems in buildings/residential premises located in the city of Katowice to: — installation of boilers burning pellets or gaseous fuel, — installation of heat sources using electricity. The replacement of the heat source may be accompanied by justified modernisations of the c.o. or c.o. + c.w.u. system, which have a causal relationship with the liquidation of the existing heat source. The replacement of the heating system can be supplemented by the installation of RES microinstallations. The main objective of the project is to improve air quality, including in particular by reducing emissions of CO2 and PM10. The scope of the project includes project preparation, grants for low-carbon projects, project management and project promotion. Project implementation period: 4th quarter 2021st quarter 2023.
