Thermomodernisation of school buildings in Domaniów Municipality

The aim of the project is to increase the energy efficiency of public buildings of the Domaniów Commune: primary school in Domaniów and elementary school in Wierzbno. The high annual heat consumption and high maintenance costs of educational buildings in Domaniów Municipality are the reasons why it was decided to take action to improve the energy efficiency of two schools: Primary School in Wierzbno and Primary School in Domaniów. The material scope/tasks included in the project include: • Provision of investor supervision services • Thermomodernisation work concerning Primary Schools in Domaniów and Wierzbno • Crane for the disabled in the School in Domaniów • Modernisation of electrical installations with lighting • Project promotion • workshops on environmental education • Project management The primary target group is students, teachers and employees of the school in Domaniów and Wierzbna, residents of Domaniowa Municipality. The main products of the project include: usable area of thermally modernised buildings — 5 163.20 m² — number of energy upgraded buildings — 2 pcs. — number of modernised heat sources — 2 pcs. — number of units built for heat generation from RES — 2 pcs. — number of RES electricity generation units built — 2 pcs. — Number of facilities adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. — 1 pc. The total investment outlays of the project amount to PLN 12 644 103.60. The project, due to the provision of appropriate technical conditions of education, but above all due to the reduction of the energy intensity of the currently used heating system, is to provide adequate conditions for the School’s staff. The implementation of the project will contribute to increasing the share of energy obtained through the use of renewable energy sources and significantly improving environmental parameters. The area of each building is used 100 % for the purpose
