Modernisation of street lighting in the western and southern parts of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship

Project titled: “Modernisation of street lighting in the western and southern parts of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship” includes the replacement of booms and existing luminaires with mercury and sodium sources for luminaires with LED modules in order to ensure compliance with the PN-EN 13201 standard and to ensure the energy efficiency of lighting. Street lighting control systems will also be used in the project. The implementation of the task will contribute to improving the energy efficiency of public lighting systems and reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. The applicant and Leader in this partner project is the Municipality of Bolesławiec. The other partners of the project are: — Municipality of Zgorzelec; — Municipality and City of Lwówek Śląski; The Municipality of Duszniki-Zdrój; The Municipality of Lubań; The city and the municipality of Bogatynia; The Municipality of Zawidów. The “Partnership Agreement” was concluded on: 14.10.2020 in Bolesławiec. The scope of the project includes: 1. Modernisation of street lighting in the city of Bolesławiec; 2. Modernisation of street lighting in the City of Zgorzelec; 3. Modernisation of street lighting in the Municipality and the City of Lwówek Śląski; 4. Modernisation of street lighting in the city of Duszniki-Zdrój; 5. Modernisation of street lighting in the city of Lubań; 6. Modernisation of street lighting in the City and Municipality of Bogatynia; 7. Modernisation of street lighting in the Municipality of Zawidów; 8. Investor supervision; 9. Project management; 10. Promotion activities. The Applicant and the Project Partners will be responsible for the management and operation of assets resulting from the implementation of the project within at least 5 years from the date of final payment to the Beneficiary. The units have adequate resources, including human resources, as well as many years of experience for the proper maintenance and operation of the project object throughout its lifetime.
