The project consists of the revitalisation of railway line No. 316 on the Chojnów-Rokitki section. The project will be implemented in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Legnica County. This revitalisation was submitted for co-financing by the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, represented by the Lower Silesian Road and Rail Service in Wrocław, which is a regional organisational unit, which remains the entity competent for the implementation of investments in the field of transport and roads. The aim of the project is to improve the transport accessibility of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and its peripheral areas through the revitalisation of the railway line 316, and the target group remains residents of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, mainly the area and surroundings of Chojnow and Rokitek (especially children, young people, people working outside the designated cities), local authorities and the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The project will revitalise railway line No. 316 on the Chojnów — Rokitki section from km 21.832 to km 27,900. A section of 6.068 km will be revitalised in the above-mentioned length of the line. This project provides for the implementation of modernisation works involving the replacement of surface elements such as sleepers, fittings, rails with defects and excessively worn out, crusher ballast and under-track works and the installation of automatic crossing signalling devices. The platform works will be done. The Contractors of individual actions will be selected in public procurement procedures, with some of the promotional activities being carried out by DSDiK employees in Wrocław. This project is not part of a larger investment, it will be implemented as a stand-alone investment, not phased together with other investments.
