The subject of the project is modernisation, as well as adaptation (change of usage functions) for the purposes of the Municipal Science Centre of a building currently unused, performing an educational function in the past. The subject of the project also includes equipping the Centre with the necessary equipment and teaching aids. The area on which the investment will be carried out is located in the center of the town of Bieżyń, on plots numbered 275/5 (building + a significant part of the area) and 277. The total area is ok. 2 009 m². In the immediate vicinity of the facility is located the building of the Schools and Education Centre.The project partner is the Association of Economic Union of the Śrem Region — Śremski Centre for Supporting Small Entrepreneurship. The Partner is responsible for the implementation of the tasks specified in the Partnership Agreement, in particular activities related to the preparation of the project and the implementation of classes in the Municipal Science Centre, including entrepreneurship classes. Adaptation of the historic school building in the village of Bieżyń to the Municipal Science Centre,2. Investor supervision over the implementation of the investment,3. Purchase of equipment of the Municipal Science Centre, 4. Information and promotion activities.In the framework of the implementation of the project, it is planned to create:- biological and physical laboratory,- chemical laboratory,- science history room,- an entrepreneurial class room,- a robotics class room.In the above-mentioned laboratories and rooms, there will be numerous activities and workshops popularising science and innovation, thanks to which the level of education in the Krzywiń commune will be increased, and children and young people will acquire practical skills desired on the labour market (including the so-called “Krzywiń”. “Competences of the future”).Projects are (to be achieved in 2022):- number of supported institutions promoting science and innovation — 1 pc — potential of supported childcare infrastructure or educational infrastructure — 79 people.
