“Reconstruction and change of use of the building at ul. 3 May 18 in Włocławek for activation and entrepreneurship centre”

The subject of the project p. “Reconstruction and change of use of the building at ul. 3 May 18 in Włocławek on the center of activation and entrepreneurship" is the extension, reconstruction and change of the way of use of the historic building located at ul. 3 May 18 in Włocławek with outbuildings, including reconstruction of the front facade of the tenement house in its historical solution, together with the purchase of equipment. Part of the premises will be dedicated to the activity of the activation and entrepreneurship centre, including the incubator of social economy entities, a legal and professional consulting point, a labor bank. A civic café will operate in the tenement house, and its courtyard will be a platform for cooperation and communication of the residents of Śródmieście — a participatory yard. The remaining premises will be used for housing for talented graduates of technical schools and an art studio for a resident artist working with the local community as part of the residency program. A series of functionally diverse interiors-backyards were designed, starting from the gate entrance in a historic tenement house, ending with a green social garden located in the final part of the yard. A biologically active area is also planned in the form of a social garden (greens) in the depths of the plot and a green roof, which positively affects the microclimate, absorbs pollution and accumulates rainwater. The scope of the investment preserves the historical architectural qualities of the conservation protection zone of the Old Town district of Włocławek. The project will contribute to shaping a space without barriers of accessibility for people with disabilities, which has a positive impact on social inclusion. This infrastructure will be an urban space enabling the local community to participate in activities that improve their social and professional situation. The implementation of the project will make it possible to eliminate negative social phenomena such as unemployment, poverty or social exclusion.
