Extension of Provincial Road 111 on Recław — Stepnica — Stage I

The subject of the investment is the reconstruction and extension of the provincial road No 111 on the Recław — Stepnica section from km 0+ 000 (working km) — intersection with national road No. 3 in Recław, to km 23+ 208 — intersections with ul. General Maczek in Stepnicka. The total length is ok. 23.21 km, length of sections running through the built-up area ca. 6.70 km, the remaining length is a trail section between towns.It is a road with the parameters of the main road “G” and the project category of KR3 traffic due to increased traffic during the summer period. This reconstruction of Voivodeship Road 111 will be carried out using its current footprint. The scope of construction works includes: unifying the width of the roadway up to 7.0 m in the undeveloped area and 6.5 m in the built-up area, the construction of 1.5 m of ground side on the trail section, the laying of a new surface with SMA on the entire rebuilt section, strengthening the pavement structure to the assumed parameters, reconstructing existing refractions and rays of horizontal arcs with the necessary corrections of arches and extensions of the surface on the arches in accordance with the requirements, taking into account the improvement of traffic flow and visibility, the formation of normative lateral slopes of the pavement, the introduction of elements of traffic safety through the implementation of street lighting in towns with pedestrian crossings, the reconstruction of the bus bays and the construction of new stops in places not equipped with bays, removal of collisions with foreign devices in towns, reconstruction of ist. crossroads and exits. The construction of the road has been designed to meet the minimum load capacity requirement (according to the judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union of 21 March 2019 in case C-127/17 European Commission v Poland), i.e. the operation of vehicles with a single driving axle load of up to 11.5 t will be allowed on the constructed section.
