The subject of the project is the execution of works improving the energy efficiency of the building of the Special School and Education Centre in Żardeniki in the gmina Jeziorany. The project will result in a deep comprehensive energy modernisation of the building. Scope of work: —Replacement of emergency boilers: installation of two 96 kW wood gasification boilers, each with connection to the existing installation, commissioning of the boiler room and pressure tests. Connection of the designed boilers to the existing installation of c.w.u. in the building -Replacement of interior lighting: replacement of light sources with luminaires. Installation of a photovoltaic installation with a power of 39.98 kW (123 pcs. of photovoltaic panels with a unit power of 325 Wp) on the ground around the building. As a result of the modernisation of the lighting system, the use of RES and the replacement of the heat source, the energy efficiency of the public utility building in Żardeniki will be increased. Thanks to the implementation of the project, the needs of stakeholders will be met and their problems related to energy poverty will be solved. The project will benefit residents of the district, including the users of the building. The project will contribute to reducing energy demand and reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. This will help to improve air quality in the local environment in the first place and in the longer term in a larger area.
