This project assumes the implementation by the West Pomeranian Centre of Oncology of the Regional Health Programme of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship entitled “Medical rehabilitation of oncological patients for the period 2020-2022”. The main objective of the project is to support the rehabilitation of 500 people (320K and 180M) from the West Pomeranian Voivodeship at the age of work for patients who are in the course of or after completion of radical oncological treatment, on the basis of inclusion criteria and on the basis of the priority of application. As a result, at least 60 % of these people will maintain their current employment or find a job. In order to recruit Programme participants, the Applicant plans to carry out a wide-ranging information and promotion campaign addressed to residents of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Subsequently, as a result of the received applications, the qualification of the participants for the Programme will be carried out by qualified medical staff. The next stage will be conducting medical rehabilitation of qualified patients (500 people) and providing psychological support and organisation of educational classes with physiology and nutritionist. In order to facilitate and improve accessibility to the Program, the Applicant plans to reimburse the costs of commuting to rehabilitation camps, as well as to purchase the necessary rehabilitation equipment. In addition, the project also plans to train 50 people (40K and 10M) of medical personnel from the West Pomeranian Voivodeship on the principles of medical care, as well as therapeutic and rehabilitation procedures in patients after undergoing oncological treatment. The project is planned for the period May 2021 — December 2022. Throughout the implementation of the investment, the Applicant will regularly monitor the results of the implementation of the Programme and the level of achievement of the assumed values concerning the output and result indicators of the project. Total value of the project: 6 395 950 PLN/Proposed co-financing: 5 756 355 PLN.
