This project has been designated for implementation in the Local Revitalisation Programme of the City of Biała until 2023 (positively verified by the MA ROP WO 2014-2020), as project 4 “BUDOWA, PREBUDOWA AND PUBLICZ CITY MODERNATIONS” (for social, complementary activities, which will be carried out on the supported facilities, as project 11 and 12 in the LPR). It covers the redevelopment of degraded sports infrastructure, which, in the existing state, does not provide full comfort and safety of its use, and, above all, is not accessible to all stakeholders, which exacerbates the occurrence of social exclusion. The need to implement the investment results from the diagnosed problems of the area of revitalisation, which mainly include: unemployment, poverty, ageing and depopulation, crime phenomenon, low level of education, low level of local initiative, low level of entrepreneurship of residents, deficiencies in the localisation of common areas, increasing the sense of community. The sport infrastructure that is the subject of the project will only be a tool to mitigate the above-mentioned problems, as its reconstruction will allow for the implementation of a number of activation and integration activities ensuring social inclusion and equal opportunities. Material scope: reconstruction of the city stadium at ul. Koraszewski in Biała, reconstruction of the playground at ul. Millennia in White, promotion of the project.
