The project concerns a comprehensive investment project in the field of revitalisation of sports facilities — pitches — located in the city of Kluczbork, at educational institutions (ZSO, ZSLT, ZSLT, ZS No. 2 CKU), for which the governing body is the Kluczborski District. Sports facilities included in the scope of the project are located at ul. Mickiewicza 10, Byczyńska 7 and Sienkiewicza 17. According to the Local Revitalisation Programme for the City and Municipality of Kluczbork for the years 2016-2023, these areas are both revitalisation and degraded areas. The scope of work on these facilities will include: replacement of existing asphalt pavement with polyurethane surface, equipping the pitches with sports equipment for playing handball, volleyball, basketball, making fences and balls, making safe access to the fields. For the facility at the ZSO, this will be: making a treadmill made of polyurethane with a jump to the distance, revitalisation of grass surface. The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of Kluczbork and to strengthen social ties, as well as to improve the aesthetics of public space, to maintain the functions of existing sports facilities, to make them available to a wide audience. Taking action by the Applicant to improve spatial governance and revitalise degraded areas, through a comprehensive infrastructure project, will result in giving the city space a new functional quality and creating conditions for development, based, among others, on revitalised sports facilities.
