The applicant for this project is the Municipality of Biała, in whose area according to the “List of communes in which excessive concentration levels for one or more air pollutants have been established”, which constitutes Annex 9 to the Competition Rules, it is necessary to reduce the amount of PM10, PM2.5 and benzo(a)pyrene. The project covers the exchange of energy-inefficient sources with more ecological sources (boilers for biomass) in public buildings in the Biała Commune, i.e. in the School-Preschool Complex in the Connector, which consists of 4 buildings (including one located in Pogórze) and the Social Welfare Centre in Biała. The project area coincides with the revitalisation area of the Biała Commune (in relation to the OPS building in Biała). Material scope: development of energy audits for the school and preschool building in Pogórze and the building of the Social Welfare Centre in Biała, energy modernisation of public utility buildings of the School and Preschool Complex in Łącznik and OPS in Biała, along with the development of technical documentation, investor supervision, project promotion. The project does not assume the decommissioning of heat sources, as it is not possible to connect buildings to a district heating or gas network throughout the Biała Commune. Products of the project: 1. Number of modernised heat sources: 4 pcs. 2. Number of modernised heat sources in public buildings: 4 pcs. 3. Number of heat sources listed: 4 pcs. 4. Number of heat sources listed in public buildings: 4 pcs. More broadly: section IV of WoD. The project will also contribute to a significant reduction of emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere in the form of CO2 and PM10 dust, reducing the degree of heat energy consumed for heating purposes in public buildings in the Biała Commune. Thus, it leads to air protection in the Opolskie Voivodeship.
