SA 42799(2015/X) The aim of the described Project is to implement process and product innovation in Wastech Recycling sp. z o.o., which will enable the process of processing food-derived waste in a manner consistent with the zero-waste concept, and at the same time will allow to convert the separately recovered fractions into substrates for the biogas plant. At the same time, the Company’s ambition was to develop a technology that will be environmentally effective also by producing thermal energy supplying part of the processes of the planned technological line. The final effect of the technology is the production of a substrate in liquid form with high performance properties such as extended shelf life and a shorter time of running the methaneogenesis process affecting the efficiency of the process. Based on the Company’s many years of experience, based on the results of previous research processes, implemented technologies, as well as observation of legal and actual changes in the waste processing market and the biogas industry, the Company has carried out extensive research and development works, which result in a technology with the characteristics described above. The planned process innovation had to be closely matched to the characteristics of the raw materials undergoing processing. The innovation was developed by Wastech Recycling Sp. z o.o. on the basis of its own human and technical resources (including the laboratory department), as well as cooperation with external experts — among others Dr. Inż. Dominika Voivodeship from the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Sciences -University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński.
