Increase of the tourist potential of the Wyszków Commune through the protection of historic buildings — stage II

The main objective of the project is to increase accessibility and broaden the cultural offer of the region by improving the state of preservation and functionality of the historic Park and creating a new educational and cultural offer. The project includes modernisation and renovation works aimed at halting the degradation process by giving it new functions while perpetuating its historical values. The project is addressed to residents of Wyszków, as well as to visitors. Creating 3 zones — so that everyone can find something for themselves: Wyszkowa’s economic s. Jerzy Różycki, s. health, will translate into an increase in the potential of the tourist park, and thus the Wyszków Commune: 1. On the restored wall, there will be tables with interesting facts about the history of the Wyszków industry, also obtained from residents (with their digitisation). In order for the new offer to be attractive, small sculptures of bronze squirrels will be located along the alleys and each of them will have a characteristic element related to historical enterprises, e.g. a squirrel sitting on characteristic furniture from the Wyszków furniture factory. Two of the historical companies operating to this day: Glassworks as Ardagh Glass and FSO-ZZN Wyszków as Quad Graphics, will actively participate in the implementation of the project.2.The bronze maquette, depicting the school building attended by J. Różycki along with the presentation of it in virtual reality.3Building a brine pitch with elements of small park architecture. These activities will be complemented by the reconstruction of degraded alleys and the installation of elements of small architecture. In addition, an infokiosk will be installed, in which all information concerning individual zones and information on the fauna and flora of the historic park will be available. It is also planned to build a public toilet and install monitoring cameras. The project will be promoted on the trans-regional radio “Hope”.
