The subject of the project is the purchase of a specialised rescue and firefighting vehicle together with the necessary medical equipment. I. Preparatory stage: — selection of the supplier of a specialised fire rescue vehicle 6x6 with medical equipment II. Stage of implementation: — delivery of a specialised 6x6 rescue and firefighting vehicle together with the necessary medical equipment. III. Confirmation stage of the 8th category of fire protection Airports: — The airport will receive a decision of the ULC to amend the Airport Operations Manual containing the procedures and operating plan of the Airport and increasing the fire protection category to 8. The project fits directly into action 7.4 SZOOP through the direct implementation of the specific objective of the action and the implementation of the output indicator assumed there. The project increases the safety of Olsztyn-Mazury Airport, the region’s communication accessibility, and increases the operational accessibility of an international airport (a part of the region’s transport infrastructure planned to be included in the European TEN-T transport network) for aircraft: commercial carriers, GA, state services and troops, in terms of the possibility of operating aircraft requiring the 8th category of fire protection.
