The project provides for activities in the area of development of social services — support for minors, who need support in everyday functioning (independent, with disabilities), activities supporting their educational and social activity and elements of activities supporting the caretakers of actual persons with disabilities. The need to implement the project results from an analysis of the regional situation in the field of development of public services (care and activation and support) addressed to people with disabilities (assessment of resources of the Opolskie Voivodeship in 2019, ROPS Opole 2020), concerning the above-mentioned persons and the scope of support. The main problem that the project responds to is the need to develop a system of support for dependent people in the environment of their residence and their actual caregivers. The specific problems to which the project responds are specified in point.3.4. The project is complementary to the initiatives planned under the SSD program (support initiatives called “Support Initiatives”). We support the family). The project does not involve the provision of health services. The project will be real. in accordance with the Guidelines for the implementation of projects in the area of social inclusion and combating poverty from the use of ESF and ERDF funds for the period 2014-2020. The activities will be problematic, i.e. the project assumes real personal assistant services, services supporting people in need of support in their daily function, as well as elements of activities including their actual guardians. The project will be implemented by a partnership between the Opole Centre for Democracy FRDL in Opole and the Foundation for the Development of Empathic Education FREE in Opole. Both the leader and the Partner are entities of the department in the field of social assistance and integration, the department under the responsibilities of the above-mentioned regulations. The project will provide high-quality support provided through assistance services for persons with disabilities who need support in their daily functioning.
