The project provides for intervention in three distinct water lines: River torto, Ribeira de Panoias and Ribeira de Castro. It is proposed to renaturalise sections of varying extension of these watercourses, with the recovery of the respective riparian galleries, as well as the creation of retention basins strategically placed in order to mitigate the impact of flood peaks in areas that are currently and regularly subject to flooding.
