Klečová stands are one of the most important forms of vegetation in the Giant Mountains, although their area represents only 4 % of the territory of the Krkonoše National Park (2 180 ha). However, due to unsuitable plantings from the past, the kneeling in some locations becomes a disruptor of geobiodiversity. The project deals with specific management measures, which include the necessary but gentle reduction of some non-original kneading stands in the I. zone KRNAP.
