The main purpose of the project is to build a new section of the tram line from the existing final Divoká Šárka to the new final Dědina in the territory of the capital city of Prague. The total length of the new section is about 2.2 km and there will be five new tram stops (one of them as a replacement for the existing stop in the loop Divoká Šárka). Part of the project is the construction of a substation to provide power to the new section of the tram line.
