The project includes the modernisation and replenishment of the research infrastructure (VI) of CzeCOS — a unique platform for the implementation of interdisciplinary research on the impacts of global change (GZ) on terrestrial ecosystems. Modernisation and addition of key analytical instruments, ecosystem stations and systems for automatic measurement of ecosystem processes will enable comprehensive research of GZ at international level, wider involvement in European VI (ICOS, AnaEE and EUFAR) and contribute to the fulfilment of the Czech Republic’s commitments in the field of research and mitigation of GZ.
