The subject of the assessed design of the energy saving project is the optimisation of cooling circuit pumps. In the refinery process, it is necessary to drain excess heat from chemical processes. Most of the water pumped is used for cooling. Cooling is provided by a system of filling stations, which in several cases are interconnected. The proposed measure addresses the improvement of the efficiency of the filling station by adapting existing pumps and regulating their drives by means of frequency converters.
