The social system lacks finance and services for children with autism spectrum disorder. Early-care client families in the Giant Mountains feel insufficient offer of help in dealing with their child’s inappropriate behavior. If the behavior of children is not detected and addressed in a timely manner, the whole family, including the child, is at risk of stigmatisation, of isolation. The aim of the project is to introduce a cycle of social and communication skills training for children with AAB and delayed development beyond basic early care activities and to develop a methodology for them.
