Nowadays, no productive tool can do without cutting edge adjustments. Because this knowledge is lacking, the aim of the project is to optimise microgeometry of monolithic cutting tools in cooperation with the university. Partial activities of the project are the design of process parameters of finishing, realisation of cutting edges of monolithic cutting tools and their experimental verification. The output of the project is a methodological instruction for microgeometry modification and a summary research report of experimental verification.
